A poem,

Muscles
forged of
iron
Friendship
born of
time
Heart of
a Lion
Spirit
of the Eagle
Your
soul has joined
with mine
Through
dark and
noon day heat
We ride
and run and
strain
The
pounding of your
rock hard
feet
My hand
upon your rein
'Pon
wings unseen
your feet do fly
Your
eyes can pierce
the wind
Your
strength of will
is an iron
grip
As is
your will to win
Not
hill nor
mountain
Rock nor
stream
Can make
you falter
stride
And with
the pride of
Royalty
Upon
your back I
Ride
The
miles stretch
before us
But more
are left
behind
Two are
one
I am you
That
distant dream we
find
